Causeway Team

Well, for now it’s just me!

My name is Steele Campbell and I am the founder of Causeway Associates. Yes, Steele is my real name, I’d post a picture of my driver’s license to prove it, but I think that would be inadvisable.

I am originally from Spokane, Washington, but didn’t come directly to Ellensburg. First I went to Utah Valley University where I got my Bachelor’s Degree in personal financial planning. Then I went to the flattest, brownest, driest, windiest place I had ever been, Lubbock, Texas, where I attended the Texas Tech School of Law. During that time I found a deep passion for teaching and research. As a result I stuck around for a few more years and earned my Masters and PhD in personal financial planning.

After finishing school, I moved to the new windiest place I have ever known, Ellensburg, WA. I teach courses  and serve as the program director for the Personal Financial Planning Program at Central Washington University. The courses I teach include Investment Planning, Retirement Planning, and Estate Planning. I also teach an introductory course and the capstone course.

While in school I met my wife, and we now have 3 girls (with another on the way). We love everything about the Inland Northwest. We often go hiking, camping, swimming, or fruit picking in the area. I’m hoping to introduce my daughters to skiing soon as well.
